Bachelor of Fine Arts
Graduating from the UBCO Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies, I spent the time at school to learn as many different skills as possible. I was in the woodshop, metal shop, Print Studio, and Vinyl cutting, and jumped on any chance to set up the FINA gallery if possible.
Major: Visual Arts
Taking a major in visual arts was automatic with my degree, it allowed me to study areas of art that I didn’t know were still being used. Lithography, screen printing, Letterpress, sculpture, and relief printing.
The Okanagan
I was fortunate enough to study and acknowledge
that the land on which UBC sits is situated in the unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people.
Minor: Art History & Visual Culture
I have always been interested in history and how things are made. I chose my minor rather late and it was by complete accident. My interest ended up with me taking all the Art history courses I could and it turned into a minor with the credits.
